We’re a bit biased but we’ve known since its launch in April that our Murelle Revolution is a pioneering product.  And it’s nice to know that our esteemed industry peers on the judging panel at the H&V News awards feel the same as we do!

We are delighted to announce that the Revolution has been announced as a shortlisted finalist in this year’s H&V News Awards in the category of Domestic HVAC product of the Year.

The first completely integrated air to water heat pump and boiler in a single cased product, the Murelle Revolution is an ErP A++ 30 kW Murelle boiler and sealed 4kW output air to water heat pump in one unit that can be wall mounted inside the property like a regular boiler.

It is a true A++ hybrid product that removes many barriers to adoption that other heat pump, heating and hot water solutions face.

Heat pumps represent considerable energy savings for homeowners.  On average for every 1kW of energy input, an air source heat pump can produce 4kW of output, (a COP of 4) achieving an incredible efficiency of 400% – four times that of a traditional heating solution.

The Revolution also has flue gas heat recovery which maintains the COP even when the external temperature falls, resulting in a greater reduction of the energy consumed. This means there is a reduction in the money spent on energy bills for homeowners and a significant reduction in the co2 emissions of the property.

Be sure to keep your fingers crossed for us on the 5 March, as we face the next round of judging.  Following this we hope to be announced as the category winner in the awards ceremony on the 25 April 2019 at the Grosvenor House Hotel.

A stalwart of the HVAC trade, the H&V News Awards are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year and we’re thrilled to be a finalist in their anniversary year.
