This month, Sime Murelle’s Revolution is launched in the UK.  It’s been available to Italian and Spanish customers for about a year and was showcased at MOSTRA CONVEGNO last month.  We’re sharing the news far and wide, with coverage expected in a wide selection of the heating and installer magazines, as well as using the social media platforms of Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, to provide lots of pictures and information about the Revolution and why it’s so unique.

In March 2018, we started a social media teaser campaign featuring a teaser video and multiple teaser images, that didn’t show the product itself but just represented the imagery of Murelle Revolution brand.  The link to the teaser video is here and we used it on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn to create some noise and interest about what is happening this month. Using the tagline There’s a Revolution coming we posted daily for three weeks to create a feeling of anticipation and interest among the Sime social media audience.

So what is the Revolution that we’re talking about?  Well, it’s a brand new concept in renewable heating.  The amazing technical engineering department at Sime HQ in Italy recognised that condensing boilers and air source heat pumps were a great combination.  They saw other leading boiler manufacturers creating installation kits for boilers and heat pumps, with additional external units and joint controls and felt that there was a much better renewable solution.

The Murelle Revolution 30 combines an A++ condensing boiler with a 4kW air source heat pump in one single self-contained case that can be easily installed by any Gas Safe-registered heating engineer.  It’s the first of its kind anywhere in the world and it’s aimed at the new build and self-improvement markets, as well as some sectors of social housing.   If you want a sneak peak, you can watch our video on the website and there will be a demonstration model at the AGSM National Conference and Exhibition between 25 and 26 April 2018 at Hinckley Island Hotel, Leicestershire.  Early indications show that there is going to be a lot of interest and demand across the trade and one thing is certain, it’s going to revolutionise the renewable heating sector and change the conversation during 2018 and beyond!
