Gas Safe has launched a brand new campaign, Don’t cut corners with gas, and we’re right behind it! The campaign features on its website and across social media and is encouraging installers and the public to make sure that only engineers on the Gas Safe Register are employed to keep you and your family safe whenever anything to do with gas in the home requires servicing or repair.
The Gas Safe website, www.gassaferegister.co.uk, is full of information and advice to help people make good choices and reinforce the Gas Safe message all year round. The Find an Engineer near you section helps the public make sure that they’re only using Gas Safe heating engineers, while the Check a Business helps verify that the plumbing company you’ve called out is also on the register, not just one of their installers.
And there’s been no expense spared for this serious, critical campaign. There’s a tailored toolkit for installers to get involved with the campaign that can be downloaded and used on websites, social media or even on your invoices and there’ll be free stickers in the February 2018 issue of Registered Gas Engineer to use on every gas appliance that you service, so customers know when to call you next!
There’s a radio advert and this great youtube video, while the social media campaign features the hashtag #dontcutcorners and will be on the Gas Safe Register’s Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts. As a global boiler manufacturer, this is something we wholeheartedly support and we’ll be retweeting relevant posts as well as a few of our own.
Make sure you’re signed up and using all the different elements of the campaign to tell your customers that you’re a Gas Safe Registered engineer – and proud!
